Payment is due in full the day of completion. Payment terms are cash or check, if payment is made with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover), a 3% convenience fee will be added to the balance of the invoice.
The customer is responsible for clearly marking property lines and any underground lines not locatable by OKIE. ie: propane lines, water lines, pet fencing, sprinkler system lines, etc.
Any permits required by the city, county, and/or state for storm shelter installation are the responsibility of the homeowner.
Integrated Environment, Inc. and its contractor are not responsible for damage to the customer’s yard or underground lines. There may be settling around your new septic system or storm shelter, ruts, final grading, or raking that needs to be done after the work is complete. We DO NOT RETURN to fix any damage(s) to the yard, trees and sprinklers, etc or settling issues. These repairs are the customer's responsibility. We do not haul off dirt or debris. Excess dirt will be left in a pile next to the shelter.
Integrated Environment, Inc. and its contractors may need to have use of your driveway. Understand that our equipment and truck are heavy, by signing this agreement Integrated Environment, Inc. will NOT be held responsible for any cracking, settling, or any damage what so ever associated with the work. The customer is FULLY aware of the risk and releases Integrated Environment, Inc. from any physical or financial liability and/or responsibility for damage(s) to asphalt, concrete, tinhorns or bridges.
ROCK CLAUSE: If we encounter rock that cannot be dug through with a standard backhoe, it may be necessary to bring in a demolition hammer. The demolition hammer is an additional charge; the additional charge will be added to the price. If we can dig through the rock and it takes more than 2 hours from start to finish, there will be an additional charge of $125.00 per hour.
If the customer wants the storm shelter in a location that is difficult to dig and backfill, this could cause the job to become more difficult and take longer than usual. A normal install takes 2 hours start to finish. If your site causes the job to run longer it will be an additional $125.00 per hour. Most jobs are a standard 2 hours. Integrated Environment, Inc. and our subcontractors will need a sufficient work area to complete your job. We will need an area of 14 feet tall and gates need to be 14 feet wide, if we cannot drive straight through. If we have a straight drive through, 10 to 12 feet will be sufficient. Also, if you place your shelter next to your house or any other obstruction your shelter will take longer to back-fill around the shelter. A standard installation is 2 hours. If it takes longer than 2 hours to complete your job due to an obstruction on the job site, it will be an additional $125.00 per hour.
On the day your storm shelter is to be installed, we recommend that you be there so you can see the position it is to be set in the ground. If you are not present at the time of installation, we will NOT return to reposition it. Also, if on the day of installation you change your mind or refuse the installation, you WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED TO RAMP UP AND REMOVE OR SEND THE TRUCKS BACK (CREWS, TRUCKS, BACKHOE, ETC.) The cost to ramp up will be $1,000.00, if you do not cancel your order before we come out on location. Also, the cost to remove a shelter or relocate a shelter once it has been set is a MINIMUM of $1,000.00. It is the customer's responsibility to pay these costs prior to removal or relocating the shelter. If you choose to cancel the order completely we will need a MINIMUM of 24 hours notice.
Integrated Environment, Inc. will NOT be held responsible for any shifting or settling caused by an act of God, (e.g. earthquakes, floods, or fires.)
Integrated Environment, Inc. and Customer hereto agree to conduct the transaction by electronic means and hereby state that the electronic signature shall have the same force and effect as an original signature.
